Course Focus: This course supports Year 11 and 12 students in developing the skills and strategies required to approach senior English examinations with confidence, clarity, and efficiency. Course Content: Approximately 60% exam-style writing practice, 20% skill consolidation activities, and 20% assessment support. Skills Developed: - Interpreting examination questions accurately and efficiently - Planning and structuring responses under timed conditions - Applying analytical skills consistently across unseen and familiar prompts - Refining clarity, coherence, and expression in exam-style responses - Managing time effectively during extended writing tasks Homework tasks focus on timed writing, planning practice, and targeted skill reinforcement. Additional Information: This course provides skills-based preparation aligned with the NSW English syllabus. Instruction focuses on writing skills and exam-style techniques and does not replicate full school examination papers or formal assessments.
