About the Role
The Senior English Specialist leads advanced academic instruction in writing, textual analysis and critical interpretation across junior and senior programs. This role supports students in refining clarity of expression, compositional sophistication and independent thought while contributing to a consistent and high-quality learning environment.
Requirements
Undergraduate or postgraduate studies in English, Education, Arts, Law, Psychology, or a related discipline preferred
Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching English within structured academic or educational settings
Strong knowledge of literature, essay writing, textual analysis, and HSC English requirements
Familiarity with the NSW English curriculum and senior assessment expectations
Excellent written communication, lesson preparation, and academic mentoring skills
Professional, consistent, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) required
